Yes,
we are still completing minor revisions on the
screenplay. We try and add elements or dialogue to
further tighten up loose ends or add a little to
characters. A never ending process.

Signed
on with PayReel.com to handle our SAG employee
payroll. If you've never made a low budget film,
theres so much to do, that you don't think of whne
you watch a film. But having everyone do a little
extra work is where we save our budget and give every
extra penny to making the actual film better.

Director of Photography and Special Effects

We received over 200 submissions for these 2 CREW
positions! I have been watching Reels, reading, and
looking at horror effects make-up all night. It's a
tedious process, narrowing down the talent to people
that we'd like to interview for this project.
I have DP'd on several projects and through my production company, I usually am the one operating the camera. But Directing a feature (and producing it) takes way too much effort. I can't step out from behind the camera constantly to give direction.
Since I will more than likely also be the guy that edits the film, I know what shots I am going to NEED to get the project made. Then theres the shots I WANT to get.
I'm looking at camera movement.....not BORN IDENTITY style, but lots of dollies, steadicam, jib, etc. I like to keep the camera moving..... it paces a film a little faster.
We are planning on storyboarding most of the action/horror scenes in the film. Hopefully, we are able to relate my vision to the DP and the SFX guys what we are after. This well be a 16-18 day shoot. So quick set-ups and a well thought out shooting schedule are a must. Then we hope we get those shots that make the trailer!
Should be a tough choice to make, I have some talented people applying.
